Our history has many great people who put their whole lives in the service of Russia. One of the historically important cities of the country is Lipetsk. The temple of all saints, founded here, keeps the secrets and wisdom of the ages. The host of Russian saints supplemented the innumerable "heavenly army". In order to perpetuate the names written up there, new churches are being built and illuminated throughout the country in honor of all those who spiritually shone in the Russian land. No wonder our Motherland is called "Holy Russia".

Church of All Saints (Lipetsk): history

From Moscow at a distance of 400 km is the city of Lipetsk. The Church of All Saints within its boundaries was founded quite recently - in 2002. The construction site was set up in one of the young neighborhoods of the city. The completed building adorned and inspired the entire street.

The temple has an impressive scale, many believers can fit under its dome. Father Vladimir (Seltsov) is the head of the cathedral, he has been at the temple since the time of construction. The architect is V. Rulev, he managed to successfully place the cult building in the "stone jungle" of the city's sleeping area, fuse modernity with ancient traditions. The cathedral has five domes and one high bell tower adjacent to it. Perfect proportions make you admire.

After the cult building was painted and the domes were erected, Lipetsk was transformed, the Church of All Saints became its true decoration, a spiritual pearl. Now you definitely can’t pass by, don’t drive, you definitely want to look at the courtyard.

Despite its novelty, the Church of All Saints is made according to all church canons. The structure is majestic and solid.

Patronal feasts

There are two thrones in the church, one - in honor of the saints of the Russian land, and the second is consecrated in honor of the Grand Duke Vladimir. Patronal feasts, respectively, are also two. Pilgrims from all over the country come for All Saints' Day, the second Sunday after Trinity, and July 28, the feast day of the holy prince.

How All Saints' Day came about

Our holiday has nothing to do with the incomprehensible foreign holiday Halloween, where all sorts of evil spirits gather. The seeds of the Orthodox faith, sown in the souls of our ancestors, have produced many delightful fruits. With the advent of Christianity to the Russian land, every new century, their own "God's people" were born. When you mentally turn to our saint / saint, you feel kinship and understanding in this spiritual dialogue.

For the glorification of all the saints, a separate day of the year was allocated. A service was specially written for this day, however, a very small part of it is mentioned in its texts.domestic saints. Meanwhile, there are more and more people who glorified the Russian land with their feat. A special, very touching icon was painted, which also could not fit on its canvas the entire heavenly regiment of our Motherland.

Such an impressive percentage of saints among the population of our Motherland shows how much the consciousness of the Russian people is aimed at spiritual development. Of course, Orthodoxy is flourishing in many cities in our time, and Lipetsk is no exception. The Church of All Saints stands as a man-made monument in front of all the townspeople, not letting any name or sacred Christian ideal escape from memory.

Sunday School and more

Now a real temple complex has been founded here. Already opened in 2012excellent Sunday school, baptismal. The area is very well maintained. Due to the special atmosphere of participation, responsiveness, attention, parishioners increasingly give their hearts to this particular monastery.

Here, as it should be, there are reliquaries with particles of our native saints and new martyrs, it is not for nothing that this cathedral is the temple of All Saints. Lipetsk, in principle, can be called the cradle of the new Orthodoxy. Even at the moment, more and more Orthodox churches are being built here.

In the temple there is an acute sense of reverence, this is the very feeling that is difficult to convey in words, but can only be felt. The Russian people believe that it was thanks to the deeds of prayer of our saints that Russia overcame turmoil, internecine bloodshed, reforms, wars and other misfortunes. Parishioners visit the temple again and again to ask the saints for the peace and prosperity of the country.
