Everything that is somehow connected with the name of Jesus Christ is of great importance for a person. Even if he does not identify himself with any of the religions, his life milestones invariably echo one or another fact from the life of the Savior.
Achievement of a certain age is especially vividly expressed in symbolism. Namely, when a person turns 33 years old, this milestone is unconditionally called the age of Jesus Christ.
Why exactly 33 years old? After all, as you know, there are no accidents. And on such a global scale, that's for sure. Everyone knows what the age of Christ is.
Religious figures and historians scrupulously calculated that it was at the age of 33 that Jesus was crucified. But the matter is not limited to this. On the day of the crucifixion there was a solar eclipse. According to astronomers, it happened in the year 33 AD. e. And then they concluded that the Savior died on Friday, April 3, at 3 pm, and at that time the age of Jesus Christ was 33 years old.
In the modern sense, the age of Christ speaks of reaching maturity in all aspects: physical, spiritual, mental. Is it really so - not
clear. But it is in this way that a person perceives the achievement of his33rd Anniversary.
In society, we are surrounded by many superstitions and signs. But not a comparison: 33 is the age of Christ. But the fact that you can’t celebrate your birthday this year is already a superstition.
To put it in modern language, "there was a guy who stirred up the people so that they still remember" - flashes through everyone's thoughts. And there is a certain comparison, reflection about oneself: they say, what have I achieved? So the age of Christ is already … So the symbolism of the 33rd anniversary is useful in many ways. A kind of impetus to think about yourself and about the eternal.
Unfortunately, everything that the Savior brought to our world is perceived too ordinary. It seems that everyone honors, but the commandments are still not fulfilled. And with pride, even believers have a mess. Not to mention the laity. For believers, this is even more difficult. No, no, and the little thought warms: I believe, I will be saved … And this, whatever one may say, is the notorious feeling of superiority. So let's all work on ourselves and work.
Undoubtedly, it is a pity that, despite thousands of years of work and the efforts of religious figures of all ranks, the layman, in general, only remembers that Jesus was crucified at 33 years old. And this is only because in our time this age has already become a household word. And what did he do, what did he command? Certainly something good. But what?
If until now the words of the Savior have not penetrated into the very heart, then is it not the case that religion slightly, but distorted them, a little, but fibbed them. To your advantage, of course. No wonder she traded indulgences. Took on the role of the LordEarth. But what's the point?.. It is already clear to everyone where the world is heading. Without love for God, without love for neighbor.
However, despite some shortcomings, there are positives. There is a lot of talk about Christ these days. Both esotericists and scientists. In recent decades, many discoveries have been made that
prove that the science we believe in is mostly false. That man never descended from a monkey, and this whole theory is "far-fetched", and was undoubtedly beneficial to certain forces. I am glad that scientists in their research have come to the concept of God and prove that He exists.
So it's undeniable that the "age of Christ" is present in our lives - it's a positive thing. And it is unspeakably a pity that there are so few results from this…
