The liturgy consists of religious rites, spiritual chants, prayers to the Almighty and a traditional sermon. For the Orthodox, this is the sacred "sacrament of sacraments", which Christ himself established during the "Last Supper". It is held on the days specially allotted by church rules. Liturgy is prohibited during the Great and Nativity Fasts.
