• So, they brought to the hegumen a young man who fought in Chechnya, was wounded and deaf in one ear. The soldier's relatives tearfully asked Father Peter in the Nizhny Novgorod region to help. After long prayers, the hegumen approached the boy from behind and hit him on the back of the head with his staff. Hearing returned to the patient. The elder himself explains this miracle as follows: during prayers, he holds a stick in his hands. She is charged with divine power and then grants healing.
• Not only ordinary people, but also metropolitan deputies come to Father Peter for help. Of course, their names are not disclosed, but the fact of such visits is confirmed by the elder himself.

• Father Peter was married, but his wife died. After that, the elder had a dream that his mission was to help the suffering. So he came to the monastery.
• At first, when the monastery was just being restored, the abbot served alone. There was a lot of work to be doneperson for the position of sexton. Just from Europe, a group of pilgrims arrived, among whom the elder spotted a guy. He did not drink or smoke, he was hardy and disciplined.
