What is the formation of personality? This is the formation by the individual of his self-consciousness and the development of his consciousness. These changes are influenced by a variety of factors. But in adolescence and youth, everything happens mainly due to the hormonal changes in the growing body. Changes begin at the psychological level: a person becomes more receptive to what is happening, learns life lessons, gains experience and, of course, forms a certain system of values. In general, the individual becomes a person.
Every person goes through the formation of personality. In fact, this process lasts a lifetime, but the basic human qualities are formed at a certain age. But even it is not very definite and, according to various sources, ranges from 13 to 19 years.
However, the whole life of a person is divided into stages of personality formation. The first one is infancy. This period begins as early as the moment the fetus is in the womb.lasts up to 1-2 years. From about 3 to 8 years old, the child realizes himself as part of a vast world, tries to interact with it in different ways. It is at this age that the strongest childhood curiosity is manifested: the emerging personality wants to know as much as possible about the world in which it lives. At 8-13 years old, the individual is already clearly aware of his needs. At the same time, he is faced with the presence of moral values and principles in society, as well as certain prohibitions. During this period, the formation of personality manifests itself in identifying oneself with the world.
And now, from the age of 12-13, when puberty begins, contradictions begin to overcome a person. He no longer wants to be a part of the society in which he lives, and therefore he tries in different ways to stand out, to show his individuality and uniqueness. It is this age - the age of riots "against the system", big and not very, but always taking place.
At the age of 15-16, parents, school, television push the teenager to finally decide on his future profession. As a rule, a teenager resists, especially since elders often do not like his choice. It is difficult for young people during this period, because the professional development of the personality will begin later - when the person directly begins to work. Although preparation for this direction in the formation one way or another begins from an early age. From the moment of starting work until the moment of retirement, there is a continuous strengthening of the individual in her chosen professional activity. Often a personmay never realize oneself in a career, which can cause a large number of complexes.
Becoming a personality is an extremely complex and multifaceted process. In different situations, socialization occurs, as well as adaptation of the individual. He tries on many social roles. Often a person is faced with phenomena that are unacceptable to him, and therefore he always faces the question of how to act: to accept this or that rule or to follow his own path of development. This is how a personality is formed - through constant choice, overcoming the difficulties and contradictions between the inner world and the world around.
