Are there days when you don't feel like doing anything? There is no desire to go to work, to perform seemingly ordinary duties … I don’t even want to communicate with friends, and that’s it! However, in this state there is nothing surprising, because a person is a most complex biosocial system, within which thousands of both physiological and mental processes take place every day.
Yes, there is nothing terrible in this, but it is still worth thinking about why you do not want to do anything. For example, a weekday morning, when you have to get up early to go to work, causes you the most negative feelings. You protest with all your heart, but calm yourself with something like: “Come on, everyone is like that.” And you are fundamentally wrong. The fact is that you do not have a desire to go to work, but to go to an unloved job. So, in order to get rid of the depressed state associated with such thoughts, work must be changed. Surely in childhood you dreamed of becoming someone, right? It's never too late for dreams to come true. And let the salary be less: no amount can compare with the feeling of satisfaction that a person receives by doing what he loves.
If a trash can or a mountain of dishes in the kitchen have been waiting in the wings for a long time, andif you diligently bypass the room, looking in there only to pull food out of the refrigerator, then this is the most common laziness, which has almost nothing to do with mental disorders. You can only fight it on your own: in this case, no one's advice, as a rule, has the desired effect.
Or maybe you don't want anything because you're overworked? Most likely, after many hours of a busy day at work, you seek to "relax" in the company of TV or the Internet. In the fight against “wanting for nothing”, they will not help at all, but on the contrary: they will draw out the last strength and energy. Therefore, even if you don’t feel like anything at the end of the day, try walking alone. It's also great to go for a run. After long hours of monotonous work, you should not listen to music from the player or read a book (although reading is certainly a useful and pleasant thing - only at other times).
And what lies behind the unwillingness to communicate with friends? There may be several reasons. For example, each of us tends to close in on himself for a while. And conversations with people at the same time become boring and boring. This is normal even if you are an extrovert. And in the event that you are an introvert, you should not worry even more. For people with this psychological trait, communication is often a real job. Some accuse introverts of wanting absolutely nothing: neither to interact with the team, nor to participate in large-scale events, and in general - to lead an active lifestyle. However, you should not prove anything to anyone: you are who you are, and therefore lead the lifestyle that seems most comfortable to you.
Some experts say that if you don't want anything, you should listen to your body: just take it and do nothing. Let the room be quiet, and you sit on a chair and look at one point. The effect will not be long in coming: after 10 minutes you will be terribly wanting to do something.
In fact, even more than a week of apathy should cause concern. In the event that you do not want anything for at least a month, it is better to seek help from a psychologist, because such a state can develop into a deep depression, which is sometimes extremely difficult to get out of.
