When to be patient?
Patience in Islam must be exercised constantly. It is necessary for performing prayer 5 times a day. Without it, abstinence during fasting is impossible. To perform Hajj, one must also show great patience. Yes, and in everyday life there will always be sources of irritation and discontent. Unpleasant deeds of people, natural disasters, illnesses, death of loved ones always happen. But one must constantly remember that Allah sends this as a mercy: "Troubles overtake only by the will of Allah." If a person is satisfied with the fate prepared for him, then the Almighty will be pleased with him.
You need to know that there is also unwanted patience. That which leads to non-observance of norms of behavior, religious omissions, dishonor andhumiliation. Islam says a lot about patience. This is done so that every true believer always understands what his actions lead to and what is the will of Allah. He must constantly pray and ask for the intercession of the Almighty and for the knowledge of his will.
Testing of the Faithful
When Allah is merciful to a person, he sends him trials. They come in two types:
1. Trials by disasters.
Many disasters can befall the faithful. But only by showing patience, in Islam, it is possible to receive a reward in Paradise. If a Muslim endures illness and does not complain, he is destined for heavenly blessings. If something happens to his property or family, he will also receive a reward. And its value depends on the test. With all the difficulties of life, a true believer should not complain. And with prosperity, it is necessary to get rid of pride. The faithful must remain submissive, and there is no greater test. It is easier to be righteous in poverty. Life itself speaks of the need to be patient. But when there is prosperity, there is pleasure and it is difficult to remain grateful and humble. Therefore, most of the inhabitants of Paradise are poor.
Types of patience
Ayahs about patience in Islam speak of its different types depending on the test.
- Patience in worship. Every person is born to worship the Great Allah. Therefore, he needs constancy to perform righteous deeds and religious activities. Examples are daily prayers, performing the Hajj: "Be patient with those who call on their God in the morning and evening."

- Patience in adversity and misfortune. When trouble comes, a person should thank God that he did not get into an even more difficult situation. Nobody is immune from trials. Most of all, Allah tested the prophets and the righteous. All of them showed patience and diligence in accepting his will and took their rightful place in Paradise. If a person becomes angry and angry at the predestined, then by this he will incur the wrath of the Almighty. Even with the death of a loved one, one should not show excessive emotionality. Tearing your clothes and hair, sobbing and screaming loudly is unacceptable. There is a place for grief at loss. But we must remember that death is the door to eternal life: "Righteous are those who showed patience in sickness, calamity and battles."
- Patience towards people. Even the closest people can be a source of anxietyand irritation. In this case, patience in Islam implies the absence of anger and resentment. You can not humiliate a person, neglect him. It is necessary to refrain from gossip and denigration of the pedigree. Patience is best manifested when a person can punish the one who offended him, but forgives him: "If someone shows patience and forgives, then you need to be decisive in this."

Everything that happens to a believer is only for his good: "If a believer has joy, he gives thanks. If there is trouble, he suffers, and this is his good."

To overcome obstacles and achieve the goal, you need to show humility and constancy. You need to trust in the mercy of Allah and his intercession: "Without patience there is no victory, without difficulties - relief, without loss - gain."
In all life's vicissitudes, you must be persistent. Nothing happens without the knowledge of Allah. He knows better what kind of test a believer needs: "Only when trouble comes, will a person's patience be known."
How to become patient?
Patience does not mean inaction. It is diligence in achieving the goal. The best way to show patience in Islam is through prayer. It is necessary to ask Allah for help in realizing the frailty of this world and the fact that everything will return to it. It is necessary to be convinced that the Almighty will always help, and after difficulties, relief will come.
We need to think about patience and follow those who show it. Allah is merciful, and in everything there is his wisdom. You can only complain to the Almighty and trust only in him.
If the believer sticks to this, he will soon reap the fruits of his diligence and patience. He will turn away from anger and vexation of the spirit, sorrow will leave him. And Allah will reward him for all the hardships and difficulties that he had to overcome.
