And these are not big words. Perhaps, of all family members, he is the brightest personality, but parents, and brother, and sisters, wives, husbands, children and grandchildren - they are all united in the Lord and serve Him.
Biography
The future shepherd was born in 1939 in the city of Biysk, Altai Territory. The family was pious and pious, Alexander Pivovarov, along with his brother and sisters, cared for and honored their parents. Before his death, the father called the mother to live with his son Alexander, which she did. In his memoirs, the priest said that he owed everything to his parents for his religious development.
From childhood, father and mother taught children to pray, fast, read the Gospel, "Lives of the Saints". In his city, my father was a respected person among believers, he was often invited to read the Ps alter over the dead, and then rewarded for his work by donating icons and books. Thus, a lot of spiritual literature appeared in the house. All childrenparents, with the blessing of the priest, put them to sing in the church on the kliros, later these skills helped them in life.
Seminary
At seventeen, Alexander Pivovarov decides to enter a theological seminary in Odessa, but he is not accepted because of his age. At this time, in the homeland of Alexander, the family is being “hunted” as Christians, so he does not return home, but goes to the monastery, where he becomes a psalmist. A year later, his dream comes true: the young man enters the seminary.
It is easy for a future pastor to study there, because from childhood he knows by heart prayers, troparia, kontakia, the whole service. He is put in the position of regent for the guys, assistant librarian, and they pay money. At that time, this amount seemed fantastic, and Alexander helps the family: he sends money home, and mostly parcels with dried fruits and clothes.
Priesthood
In 1960, Alexander Pivovarov graduated from the seminary and, with the blessing of Vladyka, decided to marry. Parents find a bride for their son from a pious family, the niece of a local priest, and the future archpriest goes to Novosibirsk to pick her up. Subsequently, he recalled the beginning of family life as happy, carefree years when he served as the fourth priest, whose duties included performing the rites, marrying, baptizing, and so on. They lived in a church house not far from the river station. The father's wife, mother Nina, sang in the choir.
According to the recollections of mother Nina, she, being pregnant, sang in the kliros until the last days, therefore their daughter Angelina loved from childhoodchurch music, and now serves as choir director. Then their son Vladimir is born, the future archpriest, the father of six children. Alexander's father's brother, Boris, also becomes a shepherd, the elder sister, Elena, takes the veil as a nun, and the younger, Tatyana, serves as regent in Novosibirsk.

And in the village of Atamanovo in the Church of the Assumption of the Mother of God, a miracle happened. Icons began to stream myrrh, and among them is a photograph depicting Alexander Pivovarov. The framed photo was dripping and fragrant.
