Initially the wrong question: "How can God hear a simple person?". Who is designated by the term "simple"? Most likely, an ordinary citizen, not only unchurched, but even the “Our Father” has not really learned in his whole life, even sometimes forgetting which side to be baptized on … There are every second of them. And they are still wondering how to communicate with God directly?

Skeptics and saints will cut the intention in the bud, and people who have a deep true faith will definitely cheer you up. God does not know any definitions like “simple”, “difficult”, “important”, “unimportant”. For Him, we are all simple, therefore, in communication with the Almighty there is nothing complicated. It all depends on the desire and degree of faith.

Communication with God is available to everyone and everywhere - no need to imagine that the Creator or Jesus are used to hearing us only in one particular place. Although if a person feels comfortable in a temple, then it is impossible to think of a better space for talking with the Lord: chants, burning candles, the whole atmosphere of the temple sets one up for sincerity.

But there are peoplewho are embarrassed to express their feelings in front of strangers - sometimes, after all, turning to God breaks through a tear. And this category of parishioners is not used to crying and demonstrating their weaknesses in public.

God is another matter. He cannot be an outsider. He can (and should!) open his heart so wide that He enters and sees everything. Only in this way will help come.

Communication with God can be "organized" directly in any quiet place: in a park, on the edge of a forest, on a lake (river, sea) shore, or maybe it will be a familiar home environment. The main thing is that no one distracts from the most important conversation in life.

And one more significant point: the Scripture says that the temple is not stone walls, but the soul of a person. So it is necessary to rebuild it brick by brick - after all, God needs to live somewhere.

Preparing for a conversation

Before you start a full-fledged communication, you need to do a few preliminary: warn God that an important and possibly long conversation is needed, that it cannot begin spontaneously, since it is difficult to find words, and household or business distracts.

Having no experience in how to communicate with God directly, you need to start with the simplest: read a prayer, if you know; if not, it’s not scary, the simplest words coming from the heart are not inferior in strength to prayer ones. It’s great if there is an opportunity to set aside a certain time for God in your schedule - from 15 to 30 minutes a day will be enough -and make this communication permanent.

You need to perceive God as your best friend (yes, it is), and it would be nice to learn how to imagine Him and act as if you have known each other for a hundred years (which is also possible). Thus, a person understands better who he is talking to, and the conversation, as they say, “glues”.

Who initiated the meeting?

Man is accustomed to thinking that he is appointing God a rendezvous. To some extent, yes. However, it should be remembered that we come to the Lord only when life presses or shakes us hard. We don’t have such a habit - just to thank the Creator at the moments when we feel good, when everything is stable and fine with us, and these are the same 15 minutes that the patient and loving Lord has been waiting for from us for years.

And while we spend time thinking about how to communicate with God directly, and whether we, sinners, will succeed, He is in full readiness to listen to everyone. He is waiting for us with our bad and good news. He is waiting for us to finally deign to let Him into our souls. Waiting like parents, always.

Where to start the conversation

It's not worth throwing yourself into a conversation and “burdening” God with problems: first of all, you need to calm down, create an atmosphere of friendly trust. This is especially important for those who have not turned to the Lord for a long time (or maybe never in their lives) and have no idea how to communicate with God without intermediaries. After all, the Creator also needs time to get used to a new interlocutor.

But also the routine phrases that we usuallywe use in conversations with people, in this case they will be inappropriate.

The most correct thing is to voice what is currently happening in the soul. If it's timidity, then that's the way to say, "God, I've never spoken to You before, so I'm a little lost, help."

If you are having difficulty formulating phrases, tell God about it. And about what is now in your head - not a single thought, but the conversation is so important, and that you feel a little tired, but be sure to gather all your strength for today's conversation.

After such ingenuous confessions, the heart usually opens, and further conversation flows smoothly and naturally.

Wait for an answer…wait for a reply…

If you failed to feel the presence of the Lord right away, here and now, you don't need to be upset: He will definitely find a way to contact. Especially if the main conditions of the meeting were observed on the part of the person - love and honesty.

And although some esotericists claim that communication with God directly through the subtle structures of the brain occurs, there is another opinion - that the Lord speaks to people through the sympathetic nervous system, namely: the solar plexus is the location of the soul.

It is impossible not to feel God's answer - there, in the solar region, uncontrollable joy begins to boil. As the heroes of one play said, “carom” sounds. There is an unshakable confidence that everything will be fine, and out of nowhere (just from scratch) great love and forgiveness for everyone in the world grows,even to inveterate and unsympathetic opponents.

That's how it basically feels, God's answer. There may be variations - individual for each, but always positive and optimistic.

Main ways to reach the Divine connection

The first way is prayer. Even the shortest, even composed on the go, it is of great importance. Through prayer, a person becomes visible to God.

The second way is to read spiritual literature. God is manifested through His Word.

Third - visiting the temple.

Fourth - good thoughts, words and actions.

The fifth is a constant feeling of love for everything that exists, and therefore for the Lord himself.

The methods are simple, but it is very difficult to make them the principles of your life, and not everyone succeeds. But the Lord is real, as is each of us, so it always makes sense to look for your own ways to communicate with God directly.

It is not for nothing that the truth remains relevant at all times: if God is in the first place for you, then everything else will be in its place.
