"Everyone, come to me and tell me, as if alive, about your sorrows, I will see and hear you and help you," the holy blessed Matrona of Moscow, known in the world as Matrona Dmitrievna Nikonova, affectionately said, to all those who came to her for spiritual comfort. And she kept her word. More than seventy years have passed since she went to the Lord, but she continues not only to listen, but also to hear her "children". Matronushka
There is a legend that when the mother of the future saint was just expecting a baby, she had a strange dream: a bird with a human face sat on the wattle fence, whose eyes were tightly closed, and then a voice followed, as if from nowhere: Your daughter is not will be sighted, but she will be destined to see the souls of people. And so it happened. The girl who was born wasblind, but for her spiritual vision they began to call her clairvoyant. She helped not only with advice, but also with prayer, and her help was disinterested.
After the revolution, difficult times came for Matrona - both of her brothers were party members not only on paper, but also by spiritual inclination, and the presence of a "strange" sister in the house who prays "to her God" compromised them. In 1925, Matronushka moved to Moscow, to the city, the love for which, despite all the ordeals, she kept until the end of her days.
