Temple of the Twelve Holy Apostles
This temple in Tula was built in honor of the twelve apostles. Construction began in 1898, wood was chosen as the material. After some time, the building was dismantled and moved to another place. The construction of the new temple began in 1903, this time red brick was chosen as the material. Five years later, the temple appeared in its current form.
The temple is designed for 1,350 people. The height of the ceiling reaches eight meters at the main altar, and the height of the dome is 21.5 meters inside the temple. At the moment, the temple accepts everyone.

This temple was built in 1898 under the leadership of Archpriest Mikhail Rozhdestvensky, who later became its rector. Tourists admire the pseudo-Byzantine style of the temple, its majesty and beauty. If you take a close look at the temple, you will see beautiful views of the windows with visors, cascades of red-brick walls and the vaulted dome with a cross. Nearby you can see a high bell tower, which previously housed an Orthodox library. The bell tower served until 1930, then, with the advent of Soviet power, a storage facility was equipped in the building. Only by 1991 the bell tower was returned to parishioners.
The temple impresses with its beautiful murals, which were made by the industrious hands of master N. Safronov. Unusual architecture gives a feeling of delight and peace.

One of the most powerful temples in Tula - Assumption Cathedral of the Tula Kremlin. Its construction began in 1762, stone was chosen as the material. After 100 years, the temple fell into disrepair, for this reason it was decided to dismantle it and build a new building.

Externally, the construction is not particularly difficult, especially when compared with the interior decoration of the temple. Interior decoration includes many materials. Yaroslavl masters were engaged in painting for two years. Among them were representatives of famous dynasties of painters. The process was led by A. A. Shustova. The murals of this temple belong to the 1st category of monuments of art and culture.
