There is a village in Lyubertsy. He is called Natashino, in honor of the daughter of Evgeny Alexandrovich Skalsky. He bought these lands in 1901. And he named the estate built here in honor of his beloved Natalia.

Here, in Lyubertsy, the church is located. Be careful in this village. And the history of the church is rich, although it is not so many years old. Just over a century.

History

In the quiet village of Natashino, in Lyubertsy, people lived. It would seem that the village should be small. But this does not apply to Natashino. In winter, about a thousand people permanently lived in it. And in the summer, when summer residents came, there were over three thousand people. How is it with such a crowd of people and without a temple?

In fact they were. These are the Transfiguration Church in Lyubertsy and the Assumption Church, located in Kosino. The temples are large, the parish has long been established, it was possible to go to any of them.

Everything would be fine, but seven thousand people visited the Church of the Transfiguration. What happened on major holidays is easy to imagine. Get insidepremises was not possible, as evidenced by the residents of Natashino. They had a chance to visit the temple for Christmas. More precisely, near him, because there was no way to enter inside. We arrived home frostbitten and cold after attending the festive service.

It was scary to go to Kosino: the path lay through a dense forest. In winter it gets dark early, you are not at evening services. And it’s scary to run away in the morning: after all, robbers attacked the inhabitants of the village in the forest, there were robberies and murders.

What was left for people to do? They petitioned for the construction of their temple. It happened in 1911. A commission was immediately created, and fundraising for the construction began.

Don't go into stories about paperwork: the Construction Department didn't really want to deal with the temple. But the people stood their ground. And the Metropolitan of Moscow and Kolomna Vladimir helped them. Later he will become a holy martyr, and in the 2000s he will be canonized.

After all the ordeals, the Construction Department gave permission. And construction finally began - in 1912. It lasted a year, after which the newly built church was consecrated in honor of the Life-Giving Trinity.

This temple was not closed in the 20s of the godless century. He remained that little flame that warmed the souls of Christians. Having survived years of persecution, the church in Lyubertsy in honor of the Life-Giving Trinity almost burned down in the late 70s. She was struck by lightning - the fire then destroyed the tent of the temple.

But people didn't give up. The rector of that time, Father John, took uprestoration of the tent the very next day after the fire. And three weeks later everything was fixed. The new dome, which was erected in place of the old one, was striking in its beauty: golden stars scattered on a blue background. This is how the dome looks to this day.
