The building was founded in 1887 on the site of a wooden chapel of the 19th century, next to the cemetery. The church was built at the expense of local merchants. The construction was carried out by the peasant Peter Saraev, a native of the Nizhny Novgorod province. The project was led by the merchant N. F. Belyaev. The temple cost investors 12.5 thousand silver rubles. It was lit on December 8, 1889. Miass has become even more attractive for Christians. The Holy Trinity Church turned out to be extremely comfortable and durable.

The walls were painted with paint, the floor was laid with gray marble tiles, and the domes were made of English white iron. The icons for the temple were painted by artists: Malov from the capital and Shipilev from Ufa.

Investors N. F. Belyaev, M. P. Populovsky and E. M. Simonov, who were directly involved in the construction of the religious building, were awarded the blessing of the Holy Synod in the form of a letter.
The fate of the temple
The city of Miass has become an extremely important spiritual shrine for Christians. The Holy Trinity Church was originally intended only for the funeral of the dead. That is why the Soviet authorities left it untouched, unlike the others (24 churches were destroyed). From 1938 to 1944, the Miass Church of the Life-Giving Trinity was closed by the decision of the Soviet government, but was not destroyed. Church land was confiscated, and property passed from one hand to another for a long time. In 1941, the building was converted into a hostel for Asians who came to earn money at the construction site of an automobile plant in the city of Miass.
Holy Trinity Church in 1944 experienced a second birth and became available to believers again. For a long time it was the only temple in the area.
Years later, Sunday school opened its doors for adults and children (1994). In 2000, the domes of the temple were restored and new crosses were erected on them. In 2001, a bookstore was opened here, which still offers a huge assortment of Orthodox literature. In 2004, the temple celebrated its 115th anniversary. By this date, the bell tower was updated and a whole ensemble of various bells was installed. Now there are 10 of them, as it was before.
Everyone who comes to the city of Miass notices the Holy Trinity Church in the first place. To date, it stands out with its original color scheme, a combination of red-pink and blue colors. Next to it is an ancient Miass cemetery.
