Everyone has at least a general idea of what heaven is and what hell is. However, not everyone knows how both dimensions were born. Basically, our knowledge in this area is limited to ideas about Adam and Eve, who ate the forbidden fruit and became exiles from paradise. But not everything is so simple. After all, paradise had yet to be created. Why did the Creator decide to do this and why didn’t he limit himself to this, creating a separate place for sinful souls called hell?
Origins of Being
Once the Lord created this world. He made it perfect and ideal in terms of human morality. God did not even think that someday sins and bloody deaths would stain this world and destroy it like a house of cards. And so it happened.
The Fall
A beautiful world with perfect people, the creator of which was the Lord, collapsed. It was all because of the demonic fall into sin! Death and disease have come into this world… Now a person cannot live forever and listen to God's word, as the Creator himself wanted.
The world has become mortal and perishable. Chaos, disasters began to reign in itand misfortune. Sinners were preparing to know what hell is.
Outlaws of God
The Lord initially filled everything with Himself. He gave everything the power of life! However, those people who did not want to be dependent on Him went against the Lord's opinion. The Creator did not force anyone to love and honor Himself. However, those who have allowed themselves not to love the Lord cannot be on the same earth with Him. The very first sinner who wished to distance himself from the Almighty was Satan. Since the Creator was everywhere and everywhere, He had to create a completely different place in the Universe, which would not carry anything Divine, much less Divine. The gates to hell (or to the underworld of the devil) have opened before sinners! That is the name of the very place for sinful souls who do not want to confess and repent.
A general idea of hell
There are so many ideas about what hell is and how it works. For example, Dante in his "Divine Comedy" assures us that this is a place of nine circles, each of which is a certain "cell" for one or another human soul. Fire is a constant component of the underworld. In any religion of the world, hell is a place blazing with the flames of hatred. Jesus called this place "the fire of hell". The name comes from a real-life garbage dump in Israel, where the fire was constantly burning.
Essence of the Underworld
In the underworld of the devil there is no life and no mercy. Hopelessness and torment have swallowed up this place… The demons of hell, led by Satan himself, have been mocking sinful souls for ages. Human,who got here, will know for all eternity what it is to be without the Lord God. The most terrible thing in all this is that a sinful soul will not be able to change anything. From now on and forever she will be next to the demons and Satan.
Any person who knows what hell is, waiting for a few unusual moments:
- surprise that hell actually exists;
- quick time to get to this dubious place (after all, any of us believe that there is more than enough time for reconciliation with God);
- in hellfire, along with ordinary sinners, there are a lot of people who were clergy during their lifetime (after all, you can automatically perform church rites, while having a heart of stone);
- hell is not without good souls (there are good people there too);
- the torment will never end!
