The Al-Fatih prayer is one of the most revered in the Koran. The power and significance of the sura, as well as its influence on a person, have been proven more than once. Every Muslim who prays recites these verses several times a day.

The Meaning of Prayer

This is the first opening sura. The holy book of all Muslims of the world, the Koran, begins with it. It was the prayer of Al-Fatih that was the first to be sent down in full. Despite the fact that the verse is small, its significance for people is enormous. No other suras can compare in importance to this one.

In the hadith (Muslim) it is said that the Prophet spoke about the sura like this: "Namaz is not considered fulfilled if the worshiper did not say the Mother of Scripture."

It is believed that with the help of these verses one can achieve healing from any disease. According to other hadiths, it is said that once, with the help of the verses of the sura, the leader of one of the tribes who lived in the oasis was cured. The leader was bitten by a scorpion, and one of the companions of the Prophet cured him by reciting these sacred verses over him.

Abdul-Malik reported that the Messenger of the Almighty called prayer the cornerstone of the Qur'an, and that it is the foundation of the foundations.

Exactlythis sura became one of the two lights that Allah bestowed on Muhammad through his angel. The second lamp is the last verses from Surah Al-Baqarah.

The sura speaks of monotheism, that punishment and reward await any person: both a believer and a non-believer.

Also in the verses, praise to the Lord is pronounced, recognition of His Almighty. There is a request that the Almighty direct the believers to the true path, and not to the one along which the lost and unbelieving souls go.

Reading this surah can boldly hope for a reward in the afterlife and joy in worldly existence. These verses should be memorized by every reasonable person who believes in the One Allah and the Creator of the world.
