Every person strives for a stable, prosperous life, good relations in the family and society, the opportunity to realize their talents, abilities, needs. Enlightenment, harmony with the world and with oneself, comprehension of the secrets of the Universe, a state of peace and happiness, wisdom - these are the distant horizons that we want to achieve while passing our earthly path. Various spiritual practices are of great help to us in this. A special place among them is occupied by Eastern religions - Hinduism and Buddhism.
What is a mantra
Each religion has its own deities, prophets, saints and certain forms, rituals of turning to them - for help, comfort, support, advice. A mantra is something similar to the prayers we are used to in Christianity and Islam. True, prayers are special. If in Orthodox and Catholic texts, as well as in Islamic ones, the meaning of each word is important, each image uttered by the worshiper, then the mantras act somewhat differently. Turning to God or the Mother of God, we either pronounce the canonical text, composed centuries ago, or pray from the heart and soul, as it turns out, splashing out the pain in our own words. It does not matter the stress, phonetic features of pronunciation, literacy in constructing sentences. The spiritual attitude and sincerity of a believer is important. A mantra is also a prayer, more precisely a hymn-prayer, an appeal to one of the Buddhist or Hindu deities. But there are different rules than in the religions we are used to. In the mantra, it is necessary to observe the correct sound shell of each word and the special rhythm in which they are pronounced. It is the energy of sound, the musicality of such prayers that help a person tune in to the right mood, enter the state when the soul is preparing to communicate with the Higher Spirit, the forces of Nature, the Universe. It is not for nothing that it is emphasized that the mantra is a hymn, i.e. a solemn song glorifying God in His various incarnations. Each sound in the mantras has its own sacred meaning. They are not just spoken - they are sung, and each such anthem has its own melody, intonation, even timbre. As in the ringing of bells in the Blagovest, each bell has its own part, its own tone, so each mantric prayer has its own musical tonality. Thus, we can say that the mantra is a tuning fork that allows you to adjust the energy of a person in harmony with the energy of the Higher Worlds and Spheres that control our life, having a beneficial effect on it.
What are mantras responsible for
In the East, singing mantras, a person gradually plunges into a state of enlightenment, nirvana. Knowledgeable people, monks, they are used for meditation, spiritual purification and development. Europeans, i.e. representatives of a different mindset, a different culture, these hymns are interesting from a practical point of view - to change for the better their own personality and the quality of life around them. There are, for example, mantras of we alth. They help attract money, strengthen the material side of life, preserve and increase we alth. Such hymns provide financial prosperity, constant profit, business success. There are mantras that are responsible for he alth - physical and mental. There are chants that attract love, establish harmonious relationships between close people - parents and children, a man and a woman. There is a mantra of desire - it is sung when it is necessary to influence reality at subtle levels, transform it in accordance with our needs and urgent goals.
Desires can be different: someone is lonely and tired of it, someone is fatally unlucky in life, someone does not develop certain relationships. Like a lifeline, the appropriate chants will help to float to the surface from the created problems, attract those events and those people, thanks to which the problems will be resolved in the best possible way.
How to work with sacred hymns
Working with mantras is a whole science and artsimultaneously. It requires deep immersion in the “material”, the ability to detach for some time from everything that is and is being done nearby. Only by concentrating on the moment, pronouncing the words of the sacred songs, their rhythm and tempo as accurately and correctly as possible, one can achieve real results. Work on yourself, try - and your life will gradually come to harmony.
