The name of St. Sergius of Radonezh is especially revered not only in Orthodox Russia, but also in far-abroad countries. This is indicated by the facts of the construction of temples in honor of the saint. Twenty-two of them were erected abroad. And in Russia there are about seven hundred of them registered (and these are only active ones). Especially many churches, chapels, temples were built in those places where, according to legend, the elder himself visited. Such is the temple of Sergius of Radonezh in Businovo and in Krapivniki.

For several years the religious building was ownerless. Repeatedly there were requests from believers for the restoration of the temple. But each time the parishioners were refused.
