Prayer is the foundation of any religion. This is the appeal of a person to God and any higher being, force, reason. In the New Testament, Jesus said, "Watch and pray." Prayers are divided according to social solitude (public and private), verbal expression (internal and external) and content (praise, thanksgiving, supplication and many others). Traditions, rules for offering prayers gradually took shape in Christianity and received a lot from the Jews. In any prayer, it is important not where, how and about what the prayer is offered, but with what feeling, faith the prayer addresses, everything else is equivalent.

Having endured many repressions in Russia, Christians, unfortunately, have practically forgotten how to praise and thank, but, alas, we always have enough reasons to ask. And we ask for many things: about the worldly and spiritual, about the lofty and everyday, about the bodily and spiritual. But most of all, we root for our children and ask for their well-being, a bright mind, strong faith, a happy lot, and most importantly, he alth. And the strongest prayer flies to heaven for the he alth of children.

Prayer for children's he alth

Pray for he alth orrecovery of a child, most often to the Mother of God, the Holy Martyr Paraskeva, Blessed Xenia of Petersburg, the Holy Blessed Matrona of Moscow, the Holy Great Martyr Panteleimon, the Seven Youths of Ephesus, and finally, the guardian angel. Prayer can be offered over a child, at an icon, or you can order a prayer service for he alth in a church. Or you can do it all at once.

The Mother of God - Intercessor

Prayer to the Mother of God for the he alth of the child exists in two versions.

In the first one, the praying one asks the Mother of God to turn to her son and ask him for strength for the recovery of the child. This is a miraculous prayer for the he alth of a sick child to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Life goes on, everything changes, nothing stands still. Similarly, religion, which is a part of our life, is undergoing changes. There are new prayers. Now they are more often written in poetic form, because it is more harmonious and easier to remember. Such prayers are passed from mouth to mouth, rewritten.
