Andrey Vladimirovich Kurpatov was born in Leningrad on September 11, 1974. He chose the profession of a psychiatrist as a child, following the example of his parents. The knowledge gained by Dr. Kurpatov during his studies at this department formed the basis of a new direction in the treatment of diseases called "systemic behavioral psychiatry".
