Demon Amun – the ancient god of the Middle East, "powerful, imperious and most severe Marquis", in accordance with the "Small Key of Solomon", of all the demons of Goetia. He controls 40 infernal legions or, according to another legend, commands the first He is one of the three spirits who directly report only to the great general Satan-shia.
Description
Amon (or Aamon) was first mentioned by Johann Viyer in 1583 in the grimoire "Pseudo Monarchy of Demons" - a book that gives a detailed description of all such spirits with instructions for summoning them. About Amon, it says something like this: “Amon is a great and mighty Marquis, appearing first in the form of a Wolf with a huge snake tail and flame. Breathes fire. At the command of the sorcerer, he can turn into a man with the teeth of a Dog or a bird's head. He is the strongest prince of all. He understands well the whole past and future, is able to reconcile friends and enemies. Controls legions of simple demons.”
One of the ancient artists depicted the demon Amun as a strange beast with a long twistedserpentine tail. Some alleged sorcerers claimed that he could transform into a man with the head of a raven. It is possible that he often appeared before the Egyptians, who worshiped him. They knew him as Ammon, although he had other names, including Amun, Amon-Ra (the sun god), and Amen. And they also say that allegedly this particular demon is one of the fathers of billions of people living in the Middle East.
Abilities
Amon is the seventh of the spirits of "Lemegeton" ("Small Key of Solomon"). According to the description, he is endowed with great power and great strength. He is able to lift the veil of secrecy over the past and future. According to later magical treatises, such as the Grand Grimoire, written in the 17th century, this demon is also capable of sowing enmity between friends. What has its positive side, as it allows you to resolve any delicate situation. Well, reconciliation will then depend only on the warring themselves.
Manifestation
One of the most famous manifestations of demons in history occurred in 1630. Then several demons allegedly took possession of Sister Jeanne de Ange and several other Ursuline nuns in Loudun. These ladies (or the “creatures” sitting in them?) swore that Father Grandier did it, throwing a bouquet of roses over the monastery wall with the right words. An exorcism session soon took place. During it, one of the spirits called himself Aman (Amand, Aman) and recognized himself as coming from heavenly authorities. Apparently this demoncan be identified with Amon.
As for this whole case, the torment of the abbess and sisters became an occasion not only for a long debate about the veracity of what happened, but also the burning of Father Grandier at the stake, as well as the creation by Aldous Huxley of the book "The Devil of Loudun" (1952). The main question penetrating it sounds like this: from a theological point of view, can a person be recognized as a sorcerer and sacrificed because of his political blunders?! But, alas, we most likely will not get a truthful answer. Good luck!
