Foundation of the temple

The parishioners especially revere the icon “Assuage My Sorrows”, painted in Athos. It contains a particle of the relics of the saint, in whose honor the temple was erected.
The bell tower has recently been built, where a bell weighing three tons is installed. Another one is at the entrance to the temple. The smaller bell was brought from Grozny and installed in memory of the victims of the Chechen war.

In the thirties of the last century, the Kazan Cathedral was almost completely destroyed. A radio mast was located in the bell tower, then it was used as a parachute tower.
