There is an interesting story in Muslim literature, but, unfortunately, it is not known to most people living in the world. The story will be about the prophet Idris - a descendant of Adam himself (the first prophet on Earth).
Birth of Idris
There once was a married couple in Babil (Babylon). (There is an older version that the family was originally from Egypt). The man's name was Yarda, the woman's name was Bera (perhaps her name was Ashvat). Yes, this couple was not simple. Yarda was the son of Michael, who in turn was the son of Shis. And Shis was born from Adam, the first prophet of Allah.
Time passed, and a son was born to Yarda and Bera, whom they named Ahnuh (Khahnukh). The boy grew up and went deeper into the study of the sacred scriptures. Yes, not simple writings, but those written by Adam - the great-great-grandfather of Ahnuh. The boy liked to spend time reading religious literature. For the study of sacred texts, the young man was nicknamed Idris (Idris from the Arabic "diras" - training).
Education of the prophet
Prophet Idris in Islam is described as the only person who knew how to write and sew at that ancient time. He used quills to write. A needle had already appeared for sewing, but Idris was the first tobegan to use fabric for clothing. After all, before him, people dressed in animal skins.
There is information that tells us that the prophet Idris knew 72 languages. He used this great gift to spread the faith among different peoples, tribes and settlements. In addition, the prophet Idris knew both arithmetic and astronomy, so he was the first to learn how to count time.
Allah's Choice
After the death of Adam, humanity increasingly ceased to believe in Allah and live according to the commandments. Sinfulness and vices began to reign on Earth. And Allah decided to choose a messenger for himself, who would glorify him, carry a wise religion and teach the people to live as they should. Allah chose Idris for this mission. He gave this young man three blessings: a mission, wisdom, and a kingdom. So Ahnuh got another name, which he was called by the people - Mussalas bin Ni'ma (possessing three blessings).
The Story of Prophet Idris
The prophet began to glorify Allah and teach people the faith. But the people among whom he grew up did not follow him, did not renounce the sinful life, did not believe the young man. Only a few heeded the guy's words. Then he decided to go to Egypt. And he took on a journey his faithful comrades who believed in Allah.
Prophet Divine Ability
Allah helped his messenger throughout his life. He endowed the prophet with the ability to know how many leaves grow on each tree, the names of all future prophets who will glorify Islam after Idris. The young man learned from Allah about the global flood, which will fall from heaven to earth in the future as a punishment for the sinfulness of mankind.
From the Hadith written by the prophet Muhammad, we know that Allah himself gave the prophet Idris suhuf (the so-called scroll with divine revelations). Suhuf was written in 30 pages.
Appearance
Information about the messenger is also in the book "Al-Mustadrak", which was written by Samur ibn Junduba. It tells about the appearance of the prophet. According to the records, Idris was fair-skinned. By the standards of the ancient world, his height was above average. He was a strong, broad-shouldered, but thin man with thick hair on his head. He also had a thick beard. He highlighted his eyes with antimony.
Idris had a special white spot on his body, which made him stand out among other people. It is also written in the books that a divine ray shone in the man’s forehead, which was inherited by his son named Lamek, and from him to Nuh, who also became a prophet (in the Bible his name is Noah).
Character
Idris often thought about the world, and by nature was a silent person. He tried to provide himself with the benefits that he got from his own labor (he sewed clothes to order). The prophet always spoke very reservedly, he was in no hurry to express his thoughts, he was a very thoughtful and wise person.
Angels
Angels were frequent guests that Idris saw. One of them - Jabrail descended to the prophet from heaven to earth four times. These visits were for the purposeconveying information to the man, which described the desires and instructions of Allah.
5 Miracles of Prophet Idris
One of the miracles that the prophet performed is the founding of 100 cities. The second is the ability of a man to speak 72 languages of the world. From the "Book of the Prophets" written by Said-afandi, we know that Idris resurrected after death, he visited Hell, then was a guest in Paradise.
In addition, Allah rewarded Idris with other miracles. There are legends that the prophet was able to ascend to the sky and could control the clouds. He could talk to angels. Was the first astronomer, the first tailor.
Information from the Quran
References to the Prophet Idris are also in the Koran. It says: “Remember in the Scripture of Idris: verily, he was a righteous man and a prophet. We raised him to a high place. It is said that he went to heaven alive, that is, he did not die, and it was not his soul that ascended, but his body. The angel himself lifted him up. And already in heaven the Angel of Death met the prophet and took his life.
The ascension took place at a time when the world was mired in injustice and a disorderly lifestyle, and people did not heed the commands of Allah. Idris was 365 years old. And after the ascension, the prophet fell into the fourth sphere, where he serves Allah himself. They say that the Prophet Muhammad was lucky to see Idris in the 4th heaven.
According to ancient scriptures, all scientists, philosophers and sages of the ancient world received information from the religious messages of the prophet.
Idris' opponent
While Idris was telling people about the lawsAllah, Iblis appeared. In a human body, he walked among the people and, on the contrary, ordered people to set up idols of those pious dead, whom the people respected the most, allegedly in order to preserve their memory. And people began to worship the installed statues. And so the world's first premises of paganism appeared.

So hetried to reason with mankind, wanted to help him take the true path, without sin, idolatry, false faith and debauchery. Blessed messengers - prophets - were given to people as living examples of how to lead one's life.
The story of Idris stands out among all these stories in that it was Idris who was the first person who made and wore clothes from cloth, learned to understand time and write with a pen. He founded 100 cities, had numerous offspring, was a wise and deeply religious person, saw angels and knew how to control the clouds.
Ancient scriptures are one of the sources of various faiths. And the Koran in Islam is the most important book, like the Bible in Christianity. The Qur'an mentions Idris and other prophets. Based on this and other sources, the plot of the documentary "Prophet Idris" was compiled.
