Signs on a psychological level

Many people describe a premonition as some kind of inexplicable fear, intense anxiety, excitement. Different thoughts begin to spin in my head, for example: "what if …", "no, I won't go", "I'm scared" and so on.

For example, according to statistics and research, it turned out that those planes that had an accident, ships or trains that had an accident, had fewer passengers on board than was supposed to be on the list.

And then it turned out that some of them did not go on this "last" path precisely because they had a strange premonition, the meaning of which they understood when the catastrophe had already occurred.

Bodily sensations

But much more acutely the studied phenomenon is felt at the bodily level. It is possible that many who have experienced it at least once in their lives will say that a premonition is when sucking in the pit of the stomach or rumbling in the stomach.

And you heard it in time, acted in accordance with your inner feelings. Although in another way one could say that you acted intuitively.

Connecting with intuition

So we come to another important issue. So, what does premonition mean and how is it related to intuition? Or maybe it's the same thing?

But no, these are still different concepts. If, thanks to a premonition, we can subconsciously understand that something is waiting for us, then with the help of intuition, we simply quickly make the right decisions.

That is, intuition is the ability of a person to sharply, without thinking logically or making an analysis, make a decision correctly, understanding the truth of a given situation.

Quite often we make any decisions intuitively, which later shows us that we did absolutely right. At the same time, at that time, we did not realize this, acting quickly and without hesitation.

And a presentiment warns us of an impending event. But we, in principle, almost nothing can change. Or we completely ignore it.

Prophetic dreams

The concept of "foreboding" manifests itself in many aspects of our lives, including in our dreams. Surely, each of you has such an acquaintance who said that he had a prophetic dream. Someone attaches importance to such dreams, someone does not. And only then does he understand what exactly this or that vision meant.

Most often, dreams that become just a premonition of something are very intense, vivid, memorable.

You can recall several well-known stories related to prophetic dreams. For example, the dream of Abraham Lincoln. The President, on the eve of his own death, had a strange dream. The stairs he descended were draped in black material. When he asked the soldier at the post for whom they were mourning, he replied that it was for the murdered head of the country. His wife, having heard this terrible dream, asked him not to leave the house, but he did not listen to her words, and on the same evening he was killed at the premiere in the theater.

Thus, it is clear that if you do not fully listen to your inner feelings, so as not to drive yourself into a panic every time, then you should at least be on your guard.

Premonition value for country

In some countries, even created special units at the state security level, which are engaged in the study of premonitions among the population. So, in the UK, they organized the BRP, which means the Bureau of registration of premonitions. The reason was a landslide, due to which everyone who was there at that moment was under the rubble of the school. But some students had prophetic dreams, because of which they refused to go to school.

And according to other reports from this bureau, some miners escaped certain death when they did not go to the mine where the accident occurred. It turned out that they also had a premonition of this disaster.

The same organization appeared in America, called the FBP. This time it was the warnings about the assassination of President Kennedy.
