Modern man quite clearly and clearly presents a picture of the development of mankind: Paleolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic. And at the same time, it is clear that stone tools were replaced by bronze ones. But sometimes archaeological excavations or even simple finds call into question all sorted and sorted data. These stunning finds include Ica stones. Found during agricultural work in the fields in Peru and in the places of ancient Indian burials, they turned the worldview that had evolved over the centuries on its head, casting doubt on many scientific facts.
Initially, these finds were called "Okukahe engraved stones", including the area of the original discovery in their name. Ica stones are cobblestones with engraved images. Some of them are coated with a black substance to give additional relief to the drawing. It must be admitted that the amazing technique with which the drawings on these stones are made can compete with numerous modern works of art.
In the early 70s of the 20th century, these finds became famous all over the world as Ica stones, based onthe name of the city in which their largest number was concentrated. The first mentions of cobblestones are found in the annals of the 16th century, which can only mean one thing - these stones made such a deep impression on the authors that they could not but mention them in their memoirs.
The Soldi brothers are the first major collectors to collect a huge amount of these items. In the mid-50s of the 20th century, the brothers, whose main occupation was winemaking, acquired a huge plot of land near the Okukahe region, planning to use it for vineyards. However, during its processing, it was found that there are a large number of ancient Peruvian burials on the territory. At the same time, the peasants who plowed the land daily brought historical finds to Soldi, among which were Ica stones. Interested in relief drawings, the brothers began to actively buy similar stones from black archaeologists - waqueros, who did not really appreciate them.
In various ways, the Soldi tried to draw the attention of the public, and in particular, historians and archaeologists, to these engraved drawings. But all their attempts were in vain. Neither the Ica stones nor the drawings on them were of any interest to science until the moment when the surgeon Cabrera became interested in them. His collection, which began with a randomly donated stone, consisted of a large number of exhibits, each of which depicted some scene from the life of ancient people.
It is thanks to himIca stones became famous for research all over the world. Photos of these fantastic stones, with their relief drawings questioning many facts of the life of Paleolithic people, quickly occupied the tables of the great scientists of the world. And the scientific world shuddered: how can it be that the most complex surgical operations were depicted on the stones of that era, or pictures that show people a peaceful, harmonious neighborhood of a man with a dinosaur. Dinosaur hunting scenes, dinosaurs as pets, dinosaur breeding, and dinosaurs as nannies to human children are all reflected in objects such as rocks. Ika, the city in which the largest collection of these cobblestones is collected, is attacked by all the scientists of the world. The motive of these people is clear: to recognize the stones as fakes. If this is confirmed, then there are no questions about how, having stepped over the epochs of evolution, dinosaurs lived together with people. The second fantastic version is that the ancient Peruvians somehow found out about the existence of dinosaurs, reflected their knowledge on stones. But, as they say, it is easier to renounce a fantastic idea than to give it even a tiny chance to exist.
